Àwọ̀ ojú ọ̀run (The Colour of the Sky), 2025

Iyuna Judah's film reimagines a familial rupture through the arcana of mythopoeia and Yoruba cosmology. Years ago, his grandmother vanished without a trace, an absence that has since persisted as an unresolved fissure in memory. In the film, this tragic disappearance is poignantly reconfigured through the imagined vanishing of his niece — framed within a reincarnatory logic in which loss becomes cyclical, eluding the final sleep of existence, continually resurfacing as a divine process of return, repetition, and metamorphosis.
