13 Nigerians share lessons in friendship, family, and womanhood in contemporary Nigeria. The documentary-style short follows anonymous voices of young women reassessing what love means to them, drawing from personal experiences that reveal the flawed ways society has taught them to love. Staged against a backdrop of generational systemic misogynoir, the part-documentary, part photo-essay film confronts questions of identity, love, and what it means to be loved in — and to love — Nigeria.
